It's been nearly 4 months since I left my old business, previously I started work between 7 and 7.30am and finished around 5pm, every weekday, plus the occasional Saturday morning. For the first few months of my 'retirement' I took it easy and often didn't get out of bed till 9am, followed by a leisurely walk with the dog. I didn't really start to do anything until late morning, and often that was just a bit of prep for my lunch or the evening meal.
It was nice for a while, but I'm passed that now!
Not one to take it easy for too long; I've set up my nutritional business
HillStart, signed up for an Advanced Diploma and have started a massive extension and home renovation project. Over the last few weeks I've felt a bit frustrated with myself about how much I am achieving each day. My lovely hubby keeps telling me that I need to take it easy, after all, the idea of leaving my previous business was to allow me more time for 'me'. I hear him, however I also know that I will feel better when I can tick some jobs off the list.
So this morning I got up at 6.15am to get to the
gym for a 6.45am BodyPump class! I'm now sitting in their lounge writing this. I'm still feeling a little shell-shocked from the early start and intensive workout, but I've had a good breakfast, and now I'm about to leave to meet a potential new client. All this before 10am!
Will I do it every morning? Probably not! But today I'm feeling pretty smug so you never know!
