Description

An advanced blood test analysing 80 biomarkers, with a 30-minute personalised nutrition consultation to help you understand what your results mean for your health

Get a much more detailed picture of your health – and understand what to do with the information.

This comprehensive blood test analyses 80 biomarkers across 17 areas of health, giving you a detailed insight into everything from blood sugar, cholesterol and inflammation to thyroid function, nutrients and male hormones.

But numbers on a report are only useful if you understand what they mean.

That’s why your test includes a 30-minute consultation with me, Wendy Hill, Nutritional Therapist, where we’ll go through your results together, look at the bigger picture and discuss practical nutrition and lifestyle changes that may support your health.

What does the test look at?

This is much more than a basic health check. It provides a detailed assessment of key areas including:

  • Male hormones – including testosterone, SHBG, DHEA-S, oestradiol, FSH, LH, prolactin and PSA
  • Blood sugar and metabolic health – including glucose and HbA1c
  • Cholesterol and cardiovascular markers – including LDL, HDL, triglycerides and relevant ratios
  • Thyroid health – including TSH, free T3, free T4 and thyroid antibodies
  • Inflammation – including CRP and hsCRP
  • Nutritional status – including vitamin D, B12, folate, iron/ferritin and magnesium
  • Liver and kidney function
  • Red and white blood cells and platelets

Who is this test for?

You might consider this test if you want a deeper understanding of your current health, particularly if you’re experiencing things such as: low energy, changes in weight or body composition, reduced exercise performance or recovery, concerns around testosterone, changes in mood or motivation, poor sleep, or simply a feeling that you’re not functioning quite as well as you used to.

It’s also a useful option if you feel generally well but want a more comprehensive picture of your health and some clear, personalised guidance about where to focus next.

Part of my more comprehensive approach

This advanced blood test is usually included within my Elite 1:1 Nutrition Programme, where I can combine the results with your health history, symptoms, diet and lifestyle and work with you over several months.

However, I also offer the test as a standalone option for anyone who wants a detailed health assessment without committing to a longer programme. Your standalone test includes the laboratory testing, your detailed report and a 30-minute consultation with me to discuss your results and your next steps.

Think of it like your body’s dashboard – highlighting areas of strength, flagging early signs of imbalance, and giving us the insight we need to keep everything running smoothly.

Why look at so many biomarkers?

Looking at a wide range of biomarkers together can give us a much more useful picture than looking at individual results in isolation.

For example, your energy isn’t determined by one marker. Blood sugar regulation, thyroid function, iron and B12 status, inflammation and hormone health can all play a part. This test allows us to look across these different areas and consider how your results fit together.

It can also provide a valuable health baseline. If you’re interested in being proactive about your health, understanding where you are now can help you make more informed decisions about your nutrition and lifestyle – and give you something meaningful to compare against in the future.

Your results are only the beginning

A detailed report is useful, but I don’t want to simply hand you a set of numbers.

Your 30-minute consultation is included in the price, giving us time to discuss your results in the context of how you’re actually feeling. We’ll look at what’s working well, where there may be areas worth paying attention to, and what practical nutrition and lifestyle changes you can make next.

Because knowing your results is only the beginning.

How does the blood test work?

This test requires a venous blood sample, which you will need to arrange separately with a local phlebotomy service. The cost of your blood draw is not included in the test price.

Once your sample has been analysed, you’ll receive your detailed results and a link to book your 30-minute consultation to go through them together.

FAQ

What does a comprehensive men’s health blood test check?
This test analyses 80 biomarkers across 17 areas of health, including male hormones, blood sugar, cholesterol, inflammation, thyroid function, iron status, vitamins and minerals, liver and kidney function, and red and white blood cells.
Looking at these markers together can help build a more detailed picture of your current health rather than considering individual results in isolation. The current laboratory report confirms 80 biomarkers across 17 groups.

Does this blood test check testosterone?
Yes. The male hormone panel includes total testosterone, SHBG, DHEA-S, oestradiol, FSH, LH, prolactin and PSA, alongside additional calculated testosterone measures within the laboratory report.
This allows us to consider testosterone as part of a wider picture of male hormone and general health rather than looking at one result alone.

Does the test check thyroid function?
Yes. The test includes TSH, free T3, free T4, total T4, thyroglobulin antibodies and thyroid peroxidase antibodies.
This provides considerably more thyroid information than looking at TSH alone.

What vitamins and nutrients are tested?
The panel includes vitamin D, vitamin B12, active B12, folate, magnesium, ferritin and iron markers. Vitamin D, B12, active B12 and folate are specifically reported within the vitamin section.
These are particularly useful to consider alongside symptoms such as tiredness, poor recovery or changes in energy.

Do I get help understanding my blood test results?
Yes. A 30-minute consultation with me, Wendy Hill, Nutritional Therapist, is included in the price. We’ll go through your results together, consider them alongside how you’re feeling, your diet and lifestyle, and discuss practical areas you may want to focus on next. You’re not simply sent a laboratory report and left to interpret it yourself.

Is this blood test only for men who have symptoms?
No. You may choose the test because you’re experiencing changes in energy, recovery, body composition, sleep or general wellbeing, but you don’t need to have a particular health concern. It can also be useful if you feel well and want a detailed baseline from which to take a more proactive approach to your health.

Can I buy the blood test without joining a nutrition programme?
Yes. This blood test is usually included as part of my Elite 1:1 Nutrition Programme, where we have more time to explore your health in depth and put personalised recommendations into practice. However, it can also be purchased as a standalone test and includes your laboratory testing, detailed results and a 30-minute consultation.

Is the blood draw included in the price?
No. The price includes your comprehensive blood test, laboratory analysis and 30-minute results consultation with me. As the test requires a venous blood sample, you’ll need to arrange and pay for your blood draw separately.
