As a nutritionist I talk to clients a lot about how much fibre (or not) they have in their diet. Most people know that fibre helps with stool formation, but what else does it do? Rather than cutting bread out completely I suggest they try sourdough bread first. It is easier to digest and by swapping from their normal loaf to sourdough many people find they can enjoy bread again.

I love to eat with the seasons and as autumn draws in I long for slow cooked food eaten from a bowl with a spoon!
